holy toledo, Batman!!

Here I was a month ago telling you that I was going to be posting as much as possible.  (crickets)...and a month later...no posts.  I'm horrible at this, it seems.  Well, let me try to fill you in on what's been going on.

SEC football season as started!!  And I loooovvveee me some SEC football!!  Yes, you read that right!! 

That's right!! HOTTY TODDY!!! The first game was out of town in Nashville, TN.  I really wanted to go to it (b/cuz I love Ole Miss AND Nashville), but had to get things ready for my kiddo's birthday party.  We won that one.  The 2nd game was a home game and I was invited to go to that one w/ a friend.  Oh boy, was it HOT!!  Like, steaming hot!!  And the parking situation is ridiculous now, but it is what it is.  Anyways, we won that game as well.  And I got to meet several new people that I'm glad to call friends now.  The 3rd game was against TX in TX.  And guess what!?!  We won that one, too!!  That was a great game!!!  So for now, we are 3-0.  WOOT WOOT!!  Our next game is this weekend against Alabama on their home turf.  Me and my beautiful kiddo are going with a friend to that one.  We leave Saturday morning, headed to Tuscaloosa, AL.  And I must say, I'm a bit nervous about it!  We have a great team this year, but it's against Bama.  Fingers crossed that we can pull this one out or come really close.  I have no doubt that our boys won't give up as they are fighters.  God Bless the REBELS!!

On another note, I've been working out a lot more lately and not doing as much running.  Now that the weather is starting to cool off, I will start my running back up...OUTSIDE.  I absolutely dread running on a treadmill.  Worst cardio machine ever!!  I actually ran 5.16 miles on Saturday morning.  Then I went to the gym to do some weights.  Felt pretty good afterwards.  On Sunday, I kicked it up a little.  There was really no rhyme or reason to my workout on Sunday.  Just kind of threw things together.  Afterwards, I went home to cut my yard only to be completely whooped out by the HILL!!  Grrrr!! 

The social life the last few weeks:  Haven't been getting out much, except to go hang out and watch football.  I did get invited to go see Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley - Locked and Reloaded concert!  And I must say, it was a great concert.  I love Miranda anyways!  But hung out w/ some great friends and met some new friends as well!!

Well folks...I'm still thinking on the YouTube channel thing.  If I do, I will not be posting about any one specific topic, but mostly just the goings on in my life, product reviews, my beautiful kiddo, hauls and so on.  I would try to keep them short so I don't have to edit the videos, but let's be real, who really has the time to edit after filming when you're super busy?  Not me.

Life....it happens!

Goodness...I didn't realize just how long it's been since I was last on here.  I've just been quite the busy little bee, it seems (that tends to happen, especially when warmer weather rolls around).  Well, I'm going to change things up a bit.  I'm going to try to post as much as I can and about all the goings on in my life.  I'm not going to keep it to just one specific area. 

Back around the end of January / first of February, things at work got a LOT more hectic.  I'm now working 12 hour days, 5 days a week.  No, I'm not super happy about working those hours, but so very thankful for a job.  That makes it really difficult to dedicate time to a blog or much else outside of my normal hectic life.  I'm a single mom (which I'm sure most of you already know), and that alone is a full time job.  But add that to my kiddo being in 2nd grade now (yes I know...and I'm super sad because she's growing up WAY too fast), homework getting tougher which takes more time, working 12 hour days, a house and yard to keep up, working out to stay fit, training for my runs, hanging w/ family and friends, I don't really have any extra time for anything else.

So, with trying to get back into my blog, I've also been thinking about starting a YouTube channel as well.  Haven't completely decided on that, but if I do, I will definitely let you know.

Then this morning, I get the "tude".  It's wacky outfit day at school and she was all excited about it last night.  She gets dressed this morning, and it's nothing but complaints.  

So, I started calling her little Miss. Pouty Pants.

Well, I had good intentions when I started doing "Outfit of the Day", but life gets in the way and things come up.  So, I will be posting as many as I can.  Once again, please forgive me as I have, yet another, horrible work restroom pic.  I just haven't had time to correct the lighting situation at home.  Maybe I'll have time this weekend.

Got me grooving....

Ok, to say I'm a HUGE Luke Bryan fan, is putting it lightly!!  I've seen him in concert twice and I'm going to do whatever I can to see him in January when he comes to town (*sigh*)... I'll be ready to "shake it" for him by then...as if I'm not already!!

Anyways, in the meantime, the new album that just came out by Jason Aldean is...to say it best...AWESOME!!!!  Now, I don't have the hots for Jason like I do for Luke, but the songs on this album are right up there. 

Yes, Jason does look pretty dang HOT on his album cover, but he's no Luke Bryan.  HAHA!!  Now, I don't normally rave about an entire album, but I have to about this one.  I am in LOVE with this entire set of songs he's put out.  So, I had to download the whole album from iTunes!!  It was just released like 2 days ago and I've been listening to it ever since! 

So.....if you're a country music fan and you haven't heard this yet....well, by golly, get your head outta the ground and get to grooving!!!
